Women Breast Reduction Liposuction

Liposuction decreases the breasts by taking out excess fat. If there is enough elasticity in the skin, it will retract and create a noticeable breast lift. It should be noted that breast reduction liposuction is also called scarless breast reduction.

The best candidates for breast reduction by liposuction have breasts that carry a large proportion of fat. If your breasts have more glandular tissue than fat, a mammoplasty may be more appropriate. The ratio of fat in the breast can be determined by a mammogram.

Candidates for breast liposuction
Types of women more likely to have more fat than glandular tissue in their breasts:

• Women who do not have pendulous breasts (common signs of more glandular tissue than fat)
• Women who are not thin (thin women tend to have more glandular tissue than fat)
• Women who do not possess extra large breasts (liposuction typically yields a 30-50% decrease in size)
• Women who do not have excessively dense breast tissue (common signs of more glandular tissue than fat)
• Women after menopause (during menopause fat replaces glandular tissue)

Breast reduction from liposuction will generate a smaller rendering of the breasts that a woman had before liposuction. The breast's general form will closely resemble their form before liposuction.

Liposuction gets rid of fatty breast tissue, and mostly frees the glandular breast tissue that is required for milk production (breastfeeding is typically unaffected). There is very little suffering to the breast tissue that mammograms commonly show up normal after female breast liposuction. In contrast, after a mammoplasty, mammograms may display calcification and other differences in appearance.

After women's breast liposuction, there is a progressive decrease in postoperative inflammation over the following two to four months. There may be short term lumpiness for a few weeks after surgery. This is not noticeable and is common in the healing processes.
